Laura McGrathSenior Hydrogeologist - Environment & Planning

    Laura is a Senior Hydrogeologist within TOBIN’s Environment and Planning Division. She completed her M.Sc in Hydrogeology at the University of Strathclyde in 2015 and has been working professionally since. Laura’s work experience includes environmental impact assessment reports (EIARs); groundwater resources including well design and well drilling supervision; contaminated land assessment and hydrogeo-environmental assessment.

    Since joining TOBIN in 2020, Laura has been working on a variety of projects including the assessment of existing and new groundwater resources across the country; EIARs and management of post-planning compliance work for several renewable energy developments; as well as becoming a member of the internal auditing team.  Laura is a professional member of the Institute of Geologists of Ireland (PGeo) and is committee treasurer of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (Irish Group).
