Michael has joined the Environment and Planning division as a Student Ecologist. He is in his third year of college and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with Ecology at Atlantic Technological University, Sligo.

Michael has explored a range of diverse subjects throughout his college experience such as terrestrial and aquatic ecology, wastewater and water quality and environmental legislation. He has also participated in an Erasmus programme at Mid-Sweden University, Östersund in which he gained knowledge in ecological engineering and ecosystem services.

In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, reading, and participating in volunteer rewild Wicklow projects.
