This project involved the rehabilitation of concrete on former Taxiway 7 and associated concrete works – including recycling crushed concrete, concrete drainage channel replacements, concrete spot slab replacements at Taxiway Hotel 1, Main Terminal Apron and Bullring Apron areas. Associated external works include drainage upgrade and diversion works, pavement design, utility protection and associated earthworks.
The total length of ‘Apron’ on former Taxiway 7 equates to 150m and relates to the proposed full width taxiway replacement.
As part of this project, the Client also requested a number of additional spot slab replacement around the airfield which were deemed critical for operation.
