Due to a growing workload, TOBIN is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing / Business Development Assistant to join our Galway Office. However, depending on experience, we are open to considering candidates in Dublin, Limerick, Sligo or Castlebar.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the team across various marketing and business development activities. Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Assisting in the creation of engaging marketing content
✅ Assisting in designing layouts and key visuals for tender submissions
✅ Managing the company website and social media channels
✅ Supporting the production and distribution of client updates, brochures, newsletters, and adverts
✅ Ensuring all marketing materials align with TOBIN’s brand guidelines
✅ Providing administrative support to the team as required
✅ Supporting the Business Development team to ensure timely and consistent tender submissions
✅ Assisting in identifying new business development opportunities
✅ Assisting in the bid process, including document preparation, bid submission, and post-bid activities
✅ Collaborating closely with the business development team, project managers, and key stakeholders to gather and organise all necessary bid-related information and documentation.
Required Experience & Skills:
✔ 1+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the built environment, construction, or engineering sectors (Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Canva will be considered for recent graduates.)
✔ Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
✔ Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and levels of the organisation.
✔ Proven ability to create compelling content (articles, blogs, updates, etc.)
✔ Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Suite, and Canva
✔ Web design skills would be an advantage.
