Ronan has arrived back at TOBIN in 2025, having been part of the team earlier in his career. He is a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland since 2002, and he has 29 years’ experience as a Structural Engineer. He graduated with an honours degree in Civil Engineering in 1995, a Master of Engineering Science in 1998, and a Bachelor of Law degree in 2004 (all from the University of Galway). Ronan has designed and delivered infrastructure projects all over Ireland, including Bridges, Buildings and Civil Engineering Structures. He is experienced in procurement, safety & health, PSDP, contract management, site supervision, dispute resolution and project close out.

He holds the position of Technical Director in the Building and Infrastructure Division, as Structures Lead. His role involves the management of the Structural Team and providing technical expertise for Business Development.

Ronan lives in Moycullen and is married with three children. He enjoys a variety of activities including CrossFit, Basketball, Surfing, Hill Walking and General Aviation.
