Peter McSherryProject Hydrogeologist - Environment & Planning

    Peter has joined the Environmental & Planning Division as a Project Hydrogeologist, based in the Limerick Office. He has recently returned to Ireland from Vancouver, Canada, where he worked as a Hydrogeologist for one of Vancouver’s largest geotechnical engineering consultancy companies, for over 5 years.

    In Vancouver, he specialised in preparing detailed technical hydrogeological and geotechnical reports, primarily for deep underground parking excavations. Peter is proficient in groundwater abstraction investigations, including analyses of pumping test data for confined and unconfined aquifer systems and groundwater modelling using tools like Seep-W. Before moving abroad, he worked as a regional Environmental Manager for over 5 years after he graduated from the University of Limerick with a B.Sc. in Environmental Science. Peter continued to further his education with a certificate in Construction Project Management from the Carlow Institute of Technology and is currently finishing his M.Sc. in Hydrogeology from the University of Strathclyde.

    Outside of work, his hobbies include hurling, golfing, hiking and camping.
