Ilaria completed her Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering in Rome in 2017. She then moved to Dublin in 2018, where she first attended an English language school before securing a position as a Bridge Project Technician at an engineering firm on Dublin’s South Side. After more than five years in this role, she sought new challenges that were more closely aligned with her civil engineering qualifications.

Since 2024, she has been working as a Civil Design Engineer, gaining expertise in both rainwater and foul network design. In addition to her technical responsibilities, she manages supplier relationships and engages with clients throughout the planning application process. She currently serves as a Civil Design Engineer in TOBIN’s Building and Infrastructure team in Dublin.

Outside of work, Ilaria enjoys walking and hiking with her husband and daughter, socialising with friends, reading, watching crime television series, playing horror video games, cooking, and gardening.
