Mountmellick Solar Farm

Planning permission was granted for the 4.2MVA Mountmellick Solar Farm, comprising photovoltaic panels on ground-mounted frames and all associated ancillary works, in Co. Laois in 2016. TOBIN managed the planning and environmental assessments for the application, including ecological, landscape, hydrogeological and traffic assessments.

Monread Solar Farm

This project involved a 4MW solar farm on an area of approx. 11 hectares comprising of photovoltaic panels on ground-mounted frames, 4 no. single storey inverter/ transformer stations, 1 no. single storey 38kV substation, storage containers and a temporary site compound.
