TOBIN was commissioned by Uisce Éireann to investigate new groundwater sources to address supply demand deficits across multiple public Water Supply Zones. As part of this project, TOBIN is responsible for developing solutions to provide additional treated water to each identified zone. This involves assessing the existing supply, identifying suitable locations for new groundwater abstractions to supplement current sources, and supervising drilling and testing activities. Beyond the initial investigation and abstraction development, TOBIN’s Water & Utilities division will play a key role in designing the final network infrastructure for each Water Supply Zone, ensuring a reliable and sustainable water supply.
