TOBIN Consulting Engineers partnered with UK-based branding, design and architecture experts, Portland Design, delivered specialist consultancy services for the development of a ‘Sense of Place’ Masterplan for Shannon Airport Authority.
An extensive amount of ‘touch points’ were introduced in key areas throughout the Airport’s footprint. The end result saw the incorporation of an extensive amount of local themes from the West of Ireland which will impact directly on the ‘Passenger Experience’. Many more concepts were also incorporated into the main approach road to Shannon Airport and indeed throughout the general landscape of the Airports grounds. Having been involved in various development projects at Shannon Airport over the past number of years, TOBIN Consulting Engineers were delighted to work on this exciting and interesting project which will inform the future development and growth of the Airport and the broader mid-west region.
