TOBIN have been engaged by FutureEnergy Ireland to carry out Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Services for the proposed Scartmountain Wind Farm. The 15-turbine wind farm development will have an electrical output of between 85.5-108 MW. The proposed project also comprises a grid connection and biodiversity enhancement lands. The wind farm will have the potential to produce between 229,950 and 331,128 MWh (Megawatt hours) of electricity per year. This is the equivalent of supplying between 45,598 and 65,661 Irish households with clean, renewable electricity annually.
