The TOBIN Roads and Transportation team is proud to design numerous Safe Routes to School projects across Ireland. Recently, construction has been successfully completed at schools in Newtowncunningham, Galway City, and Ramelton, delivering safer and more sustainable routes for students.
These schemes involve extensive stakeholder engagement, working closely with parents, schools, local authorities, and the broader community to develop solutions that address the concerns of all road users. From improved pedestrian crossings and cycling infrastructure to traffic calming measures, each project is tailored to enhance safety and accessibility while promoting active travel for students.
