TOBIN was appointed by the Geological Survey Ireland to carry out a hydrogeological assessment of Lough Carra as part of the EU LIFE project that aims to protect this unique marl habitat in Co. Mayo. TOBIN is carrying out karst feature mapping, multiple dye traces and groundwater monitoring to establish the groundwater flow paths and contribution to the lake.
