TOBIN, An AtkinsRéalis Company, is delighted to have supported the successful completion of the new Gaelscoil Lorgan in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, providing Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) services throughout the project. The development delivers a modern, purpose-built primary school designed to support the educational, social and wellbeing needs of pupils and staff.
The completed school comprises eight classrooms, learning support rooms, a general-purpose hall, extensive outdoor spaces and a dedicated sensory room, providing a flexible, inclusive and stimulating learning environment for the school community.
As PSDP, TOBIN’s Health & Safety & Technical Advisory Division (HSTA) provided proactive health and safety coordination throughout the design development, working closely with the Client and multidisciplinary design team to identify foreseeable risks and ensure appropriate risk-reduction measures were incorporated into the design.
The project demonstrates TOBIN’s ability to deliver a practical, collaborative and risk-based PSDP service, supporting effective design coordination, statutory compliance and the successful delivery of a high-quality educational facility.
