As part of our continued work with Shannon Heritage (part of the Shannon Group), TOBIN Consulting Engineers provided Project Management, Employer’s Representative, Quantity Surveying and PSDP services on the recently completed Cliffs of Moher ‘Retail Outlet Fit-Out’ Project. The backdrop to this new retail venue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, could not be more spectacular.
In our lead role on this important project for the mid-west region, a number of considerations and indeed sensitivities had to be taken into account to achieve an economically sustainable outlet for our client. The objective of this project was clear from the outset. As the lead, we needed to achieve the perfect balance for Shannon Heritage – a perfect balance between their curatorial role at this world famous site, and crucially, their need to operate in a commercially viable outlet.
