TOBIN were responsible for the completion of a 64 bed, 1500m² single storey nursing home with dementia care unit located at Clonberne, Co Galway, in an area without Local Authority services.
The significant health and safety issues relating to this project centered around the construction methods and sequences used as the works proposed were undertaken while the existing residents remained in the existing Nursing Home. This required TOBIN as Designers and also as PSDP to closely co-ordinate with the PSCS and the Employer throughout the works to ensure the safety of residents and staff of the Nursing Home.
