The new Engineering /Informatics building at AIT comprises a reception, offices, cafeteria, open offices, specialist facilities, solar panels, rain water harvesting and support facilities including car parking and landscaping (around the building), at Athlone I.T, Dublin Road, Athlone.
PSDP duties included:
- Identifying key critical safety issues
- Coordinating all of the designer’s activities during construction
- Attending key design team meetings to facilitate a design safety review
- Assisting AIT in relation to safety and health matters on the project
- Coordinating all Temporary Works Designers
- Delivery of Preliminary Safety and Health Plan to all tenderers
- Ongoing liaison with the PSCS regarding collation of information for inclusion in the Safety File
