TOBIN Consulting Engineers is delighted to be involved in the development of the mixed-use scheme located in the Northern suburbs of Galway City. The development is arranged across 12 no. development blocks (a-m) ranging in height from 2 to 8 storeys with associated ground level and basement level car parking. The scheme includes the provision of 8 no. blocks of residential units ranging in height from 2 to 8 storeys over ground floor level totalling 248 no. apartments including 68 no. 1-bed apartments, 125 no. 2- bed apartments, 47 no. 3-bed apartments, 5 no. 4-bed apartments, 3 no. studio apartments., with the provision of residential amenity facilities with such as laundry rooms, gym, co-working space, bookable spaces and workshop/bike repair areas and the provision of a creche facility.
The project also includes the construction of 4 no. blocks of commercial offices ranging in height from 4 to 5 storeys over ground floor level,) together with a hotel development comprising 222 no. hotel bedrooms, conference facilities and restaurant/bar areas, a leisure centre and spa with indoor swimming pool and gym, changing rooms, treatment rooms, studios, ancillary spaces.
