Njabulo Madonsela is a Civil Engineer specialising in water infrastructure, with over five years of experience in the planning, design and delivery of water and wastewater projects. He holds a BSc (Honours) in Civil Engineering from the University of KwaZulu‑Natal and is currently completing a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Water Engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment.
He has progressed from Graduate and Junior Engineer to Resident Engineer, gaining strong experience in project management, site supervision and infrastructure design. Njabulo has worked on large‑scale projects across South Africa and the Middle East, with responsibilities including budget and programme management, contractor coordination, wastewater asset condition assessments, and the design and modelling of process units, pipelines, stormwater systems, and feasibility studies.
His technical expertise includes Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D with iDAS, Prokon and ArcGIS, supported by specialist training in Civil 3D, Revit Structure and renewable energy project development. He is a registered Candidate Engineer with ECSA and is passionate about sustainable water infrastructure, continuous learning and delivering practical engineering solutions that enhance service delivery and environmental outcomes.
