Michael is a member of the Building & Infrastructure Division at TOBIN, having joined the company in 2015. With a solid background in the private sector, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. He holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Galway, where he also completed his undergraduate studies.

Over the years, Michael has gained extensive experience working on projects from conception to completion. His expertise spans civil infrastructure design, site development, fire safety, disability access, fit-out works and refurbishment of existing buildings. He has played an integral part in coordinating planning applications and preparing tenders for contractor procurement, with a deep understanding of the procedures involved.

Michael’s portfolio includes projects of varying scale, including residential and commercial developments, airport infrastructure, and industrial projects. He has proven his ability to manage and deliver on both small and large-scale ventures, ensuring that all aspects of design and execution meet the highest standards, fulfilling roles such as Assigned Certifier and Employers Representative.

Outside of his professional life, Michael is passionate about music, and is involved with a band in Galway City. He also enjoys following sports, particularly GAA and Rugby, and never misses a chance to catch a Connacht game at the Sportsground.
