Cathal is a 4th year Civil Engineering Student at the University of Galway with plans to progress to a Master’s in Civil Engineering. Cathal has joined the Building & Infrastructure Division as part of his work placement.
He has gained industry experience as a production engineer and as a junior lab technician in precast concrete production facilities across the midlands. Cathal was exposed to Quality assurance and control, concrete sampling and testing, and adherence to relevant standards and specifications.
Cathal enjoys partaking in Gaelic football and fishing in his spare time.
