Ali joined Tobin’s Roads and Transportation division as a Design Engineer, bringing almost five years of industry experience.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in Baghdad, Iraq, before relocating to Warsaw, Poland, where he completed a Master’s in Transportation Engineering. He also briefly pursued studies in Environmental Engineering before starting his new role within the highways team in a multinational consultancy. Over the course of his career, Ali has contributed to several major infrastructure projects across the UK from major highways projects to energy sector projects. He developed strong technical expertise in modelling, roads and infrastructure design, BIM processes, and various other digital tools.
Having lived in multiple countries and experienced a variety of cultures, Ali is passionate about travel and connecting with new people. In his quiet moments, he enjoys learning history and philosophy, while his more energetic side comes alive at music concerts.
