We were delighted to attend Radharc na Mara Primary School in Galway yesterday as part of #STEPSEngineersWeek, which is run by Engineers Ireland.
Karen Reardon Marketing Executive and Engineer Mistaya Langridge, MASc, EIT, MIEI from the Civil | Design Build | Water division, gave the 6th-class students a challenge to design a system to protect an egg from breaking from a high fall with only a few supplies.
It was great to see the students working as a team and thinking outside the box!
Well done to all the students who came up with some great designs and thanks to the teachers and the Principal at Radharc na Mara Primary School for having us.
We hope to visit again soon!
