June is Pride Month – a time to celebrate equality, visibility, and inclusion for the LGBTQ+ community. At TOBIN, we are committed to fostering a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered to be themselves, not just this month, but all year round.
To mark Pride Month, we were delighted to welcome Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre, an organisation dedicated to supporting the people, spaces, and issues important to LGBTQ+ communities. They delivered a fantastic session on “Creating Spaces for LGBTQ+ People at Work.”
The talk provided valuable insight into the experiences and challenges faced within the LGBTQ+ community, while highlighting the importance of creating safe, inclusive spaces. It also encouraged us to reflect on how we can continue to build a culture of inclusion, belonging, and support within our workplace.
The team also came together to enjoy some Pride-themed treats, providing a lovely opportunity to connect, take a break, and celebrate the importance of inclusivity in a relaxed and social setting.
