TOBIN was delighted to facilitate a bespoke Biological Water Quality Training programme for employees of Fingal County Council.
The indoor element of the training, held at the TOBIN Dublin Office, covered a range of key topics including:

• Citizen Science Stream Index (CSSI)
• Small Streams Risk Score (SSRS)
• EPA Q-Value
• Kick sampling methodology
• River site selection
• Desktop studies
• Biosecurity
• Health and safety
The programme also included two days of practical outdoor training at the River Ward in Swords, Co. Dublin, and the River Liffey in Ballymore Eustace, Co Kildare.
