TOBIN Gold Medal

THE TOBIN CONSULTING ENGINEERS GOLD MEDAL AND RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP IN CIVIL ENGINEERING (NUI Galway)

The Gold Medal and the Research Scholarship are awarded annually, on the results of the B.E. Examination in Civil Engineering in NUI Galway. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Professor of Civil Engineering following consultation with representatives of TOBIN.

The gold medal is awarded to the Student who attains the highest overall mark in the B.E. Degree Examination in Civil Engineering, while the Research Scholarship is awarded to the highest placed graduate who subsequently registers for a Masters Degree, which involves research in Civil Engineering.

The Research Scholarship is intended to help to defray the costs incurred by the candidate in the pursuit of his/her research.
