TOBIN Consulting Engineers have been providing engineering solutions in Ireland since 1952. With over 110 staff working in our offices in Galway, Dublin, Limerick, Castlebar, and Dundalk we provide engineering services nationwide to public and private clients. We have also recently opened a new office in Krakow, Poland.

TOBIN provide Project Management services and we can offer extensive knowledge of the new forms of contract. TOBIN are constantly planning for the future and we are tailoring our CPD to drive our approach to sustainability and One Planet Living and to meet the future needs of our clients.

TOBIN Consulting Engineers has a proven track record of delivering high quality products to our clients and have been ISO 9001:2000 certified since 2003.

TOBIN Consulting Engineers is committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for our staff: we were the 9th company in the State to receive CPD accreditation from the Institution of Engineers of Ireland (IEI). TOBIN Consulting Engineers were shortlisted for CPD Company of the Year Award in 2004 based on our Knowledge Management Initiative. TOBIN  won CPD company of the year 2007 in the medium-sized organisation category.

In July 2008 TOBIN achieved certification for ISO14001 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 180001 (Safety Management). This completes the suite of our Business Management Standards, adding to TOBIN's ISO9001 and CPD accreditation.

TOBIN Environmental Policy

TOBIN Consulting Engineers are committed to providing environmentally friendly workplaces to all their employees, joint venture partners, clients, regulatory bodies and the public through the development of policies to reduce waste and consumption of resources, to recycle all appropriate resources and to purchase sustainable or recycled materials where possible.

All TOBIN Environmental policies comply with local, regulatory and statuary requirements. TOBIN Consulting Engineers recognise the need to provide on-going training to all employees including ancillary staff as they play a key role in implementing environmental policies and achieving targets associated with them, TOBIN will review its environmental Management System at regularly intervals and will seek to continually improve its over environmental performance.

In 2009 TOBIN used our in-house energy expertise to reduce our energy consumption across all our office by 40% over 2008 levels.
